Partly close
TS does not fully support to close only part of a commercial paper deal in advance, e.g. buy back of part of issued commercial paper or sell part of a commercial paper that you have invested in.
There is however a work around where you can enter an 'add deal' that is reversing part of the original commercial paper deal. I.e. if original commercial paper is an issued deal, then the close shall be entered as an invested deal. This will result in two active transactions until deal end date. For example in January you issued 100 MSEK, and in February you buy-back 50 SEK, then you will have one one transaction of -100 MSEK and one transaction of +50 MSEK. If you want these to be booked to the same BS account (e.g. as a net liability) you need to add a tag to your added deal and add that tag to your accounting rule. Otherwise you will have the issued transaction booked to a liability account, and the Invested transaction to an asset account.
An other work around is to use the fully close the original Commercial Paper using the add close deal by using the Add Close button and then enter a new Commercial Paper of the remaining amount.
