Start > Back Office > Cash Management > Confirm Balances

In the view Confirm Balances You can see the balance on all bank accounts.

As default you see last business day balance. The balance is Calculated from all cash flows going through that specific bank account.

The status on the balance can be

  • Calculated- the balance is calculated from the transactions registered within Treasury Systems. The calculation is made from the latest confirmed/imported balance to the date selected (default last business day)
  • Confirmed - the balance has been confirmed manually
  • Imported- the balance has been imported from the bank account statement.

To manual confirm a balance you check all or selected bank accounts and click on confirmed.

When bank account statements is imported the balance will be Imported.

In both cases ( Confirmed and Imported) the balance is now locked and the balance will not change. If you register a deal with payment date on the same date as the locked the balance and you would like that deal to affect the confirmed balance.

you have to unlock the balance by Modify.

Booked Balance/Available Balance: In case the balance is a calculated balance these amounts will always be the same.

If 'Available balance' is in the bank file TS will import this and present it as Available Balance. Otherwise 'Booked balance' will be used and will be the same as 'Available balance'.
