How to delete or inactivate a bank account

Delete a Bank Account


It is only possible to delete a bank account if the account is not connected to a deal or have imported statements, if so, it has do be inactivated, see below instruction.


Delete a bank account is done in Master Data / Companies, it is not possible to delete bank accounts in Master Data / Master Data.




Go to the Tab Bank Account and stand on the bank account and then press Remove Bank Account - Save.



Deactivate a Bank Account


Deactivate a bank account is done in Master Data / Master Data.


Go to the Tab Bank Accounts and unmark "Active" and Save.



The bank account is now deactivated and will not be shown in any drop down lists.


Note! This will remove the account from any default bank account rule, default bank accounts may therefore have to be updated.


To be able to see all deactivated accounts at the bottom un-check the filter for active accounts



To activate the account again -> check the box 'Active' to the right -> and press Save.
