This article describes how to prolong a deal after its original Maturity Date.

Prolonging maturity works for the following Deal Types.

  • Loan/Depo
  • IRS
  • Caps & Floors
  • Leasing Loans
  • Danish Mortgage Bonds
  • Credit Facility
  • Fees


  1. Open the deal that should be Prolonged
  2. Go to tab 'Transactions'  
  3. Add a new Term, by pressing button "Terms".
  4. Select a New Begin date (starting from the current End date of the deal) -> and a new End date.
  5. Select new Terms for the 'prolonged' period if needed, or keep the same.
  6. Press "OK"

Permissions needed

The permission Modify Deals (or Deal Type specific permission if applicable) is needed to Prolong a deal.
