The widget deal action will in realtime alert if there are any Bond Future deals that are missing closing price. The most efficient way to set the price is by import all prices from a market provider and set up an activity in the autopilot to automatically price all Bond Future. It is possible to set the Bond Future price manually as well.
The widget Bond Future Prices will indicate if a closing price needs to set on a deal.
Deal Action / Bond Future Price
There are 3 way to set closing price on a bond future
- Enter the close price applicable on the value date in column Current Price.
- Mark all deal and click on icon Manually and add the closing price in the pop up
- Mark all deals and click icon Automatic and the system will fetch the price applicable on the value date from imported market data.
Check that the Gain loss is correct and click save.
The deals next value date will be shown in the ledger and you can set the next days closing price.
Accounting and payments will be created for all priced transactions.
Set close price automatically
If you are importing the Bond future prices the autopilot can set the price automatically. You will not need to go into Bond future ledger unless something with the automatic pricing is has stoppet.
Open autopilot and click plus sign Create new activity Price Bond Future
In TAB Triggers
Add a trigger and select the market data import that are importing the Bond futures. Then the closing price will be set automatically as soon as the import of the prices are succesfully.
Note! The trigger can only be used if the Market data is imported through an activity in the Autopilot (not if the improt is done manually from a csv file).
