Save Report Data to the API

TS saves the most important information of all the clients' deals in an API, which is then available for download to data warehouses or data lakes. All data available in the report type balance position can be added to the API.

Check Data in the System Report used when Saving API data

The first step is to check the system report used when saving API data and check if data should be added or removed. 

  1. Open System Report for saving Transaction API Data via option A or B below:
    1. Write the system report name in the generic search field
    2. Open the Reports view, go to Category General and select the system report
  2. Check the Selection tab. Update the selection of all deals that should be saved and made available via the API, e.g. simulation deals.
  3. Check the Columns tab and add or remove columns, e.g. Deal Tags can be added. 


Update the Saved API Data with the System Report Changes

Go to the "Transaction API Data" view.


Select the date you want to update and click on the Update API Data icon.

This needs to be done on all dates you want to update.

To verify the update, click on the Run historical report icon and check that the changes made to the report have been saved. You can also run an API data report in real-time by clicking the Run real-time report icon.
