Bloomberg FXGO Deal Import

Contact Bloomberg support and inform them that you wish to receive deal details from FXGO. Give them the following information

• The files will be sent to the treasury management system Treasury Systems
• You prefer to login with password to the SFTP folder where deal details are exported. 
• The connectivity method is Internet
• The file format is xml - contact TS support for specific format requirements
• 1 file per trade 
• The vendor to where the files will be sent is Treasury Systems Sweden AB. 
• The files has to be moved to an SFTP folder

After you have sent this you can whitelist the IP addresses to TS. Best way to make sure to always use the up to date IP is to contact Treasury Systems support. After receiving all necessary IP, add it in Bloomberg Enterprise Console.

Login to the portal and pick Configure and SFTP IP allowlist Manager

You will find your username there, click on it and after that you choose IP Allowlist entry.

Enter the details as per below (with the relevant IP) and then “ADD ALLOWLIST”

When you receive the login details from Bloomberg support enter the details in TS under Settings-> Credentials -> External Endpoints.

Put the following information in the fields:

ID – Of your choice - for example you can use "Bloomberg SFTP FXGO"

Description – Of your choice - for example you can use "Bloomberg SFTP FXGO"

Username  – Use the login name provided by Bloomberg

Hostname – sftp.bloomberg.com [Double check with Bloomberg]

Key Generation Type – RSA

Port– 22

Root Folder - [empty]

Set Password – enter password

Save

In autopilot – Setup an integration “Bloomberg FXGO FX Deal Importer”. Give it a name and setup the mappings. Make special attention to there are Custom Notes added in Bloomberg as these will have to be mapped to a tag for example.

To finalize the import, setup an activity/plugin for this integration. Transfer Method should be set to SFTP and pick the credential in you created. There is no need to setup a schedule as the Bloomberg folder will be checked every 3 minutes. 

Importing Loans and Deposits

Legal entity mapping - tag TraderDealCode in the xml file contains the name of the legal entity

Counterpart mapping - tag CptyDealCode in the xml file contains the name of the counterparty

Tag values mapping - a combination of tags NoteName and NoteText in the xml file contains the information for tags.

NoteName1 = Tag definition name -> Strategy

NoeText1 = Tag value -> Hedge

NoteName2 = Tag definition name -> Purpose

NoeText2 = Tag value -> Netting
