Export of Deal requests, Deal suggestions from both FX Hedging rules and Target balance rules.

It is possible to export FX Deal requests to Bloomberg FXEM/FXGO. It can be a request (Subsidiary Deal Request) created either by file import or manually entered in the deal widget. It could also be a request created from the Deal Request functions Target Balance or Automate FX with FX hedge rules.

From TS there is an integration in the Autopilot called "BloombergFXGOCsvExporter" which will send the requests to Bloomberg. In order to setup this the following is needed:

Settings

  • Field "Export User" has to be the username for a person with access to Bloomberg FXEM. The files will be uploaded in the name of this person. Please note that all users which can access FXEM/FXGO will be able to access and execute the uploaded deals, not just the person which is input under "Export User". It is particularly important to remember this as this field has to be updated in case the person terminates the Bloomberg license.
  • Company ID - Name of the company

File setup

The following fields/Expression needs to be setup.

Note!  ExternalOrderID is used to identify the internal FX Request uploaded from TS that should be priced from the external deal, when the external deal is imported.

It is also used to identify the external Deal suggestion uploaded from TS that should be marked as Completed when the external deal is imported.
