TS is a SaaS solution (cloud based) and adding of new users includes (and depends) on some technical prerequisites before the user can download the application and login.
The user needs to have access to settled Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
Access to Azure AD is in general handled by IT in users’ organization. This needs to be settled before a TS-user ID can be created in the TS application. Due to organization, routines and IT environment access to Azure AD can be handled differently in user’s environments and organizations.
The default setting in Azure AD is allowing all users in the organization (within the main tenant ID) to log in to TS desktop application (after application has been downloaded), which will automatically create a TS-user ID. However, this added user does not per default have access to any information or actions in the application. Roles and permissions are added and handled/granted internally by users with admin-rights for TS in the application.
This article describes procedures and actions needed for three different scenarios:
- Adding a user within the main tenant ID where all users are registered with the same AD rights (in most cases this is done during implementation).
- Adding a user with foreign/other tenant ID, e.g., users from a subsidiary or merged company where users are registered in other AD's than main AD.
- Change of tenant ID (some/or all users are moved from one tenant ID to another).
Adding a user within the main tenant ID
Before the user can access the application, they need to be granted access permission to the TS Application in the Azure AD.
To download the application, use the TS login URL address (see example link below, where <COMPANYNAME> should be replaced with the defined company name). The precise URL for download of TS application is given during implementation of TS and it can also be provided by the TS-support upon request via a ticket. Recommended is to use MS Edge as web browser for download and use of TS.

Adding a user from a foreign/other tenant ID
Users from a foreign/other tenant ID needs to be registered as ‘guest user’ and granted access to the TS application in the main Azure AD.
If not possible to add a user from a foreign/other tenant ID as guest user in Azure AD
If, for some reason, it is not possible to add user(s) from a foreign/other tenant ID as ‘guest user’ the main Azure AD, then please contact TS support with a request and approval of granting access for the foreign tenant ID to the TS application.
Application Download and login
To download the application, use the TS login URL address (see example link below, where <COMPANYNAME> should be replaced with the defined company name). The precise URL for download of TS application is provided during implementation of TS, but can also be provided by the TS-support upon request via a ticket. We recommend MS Edge as browser for download and use of TS.
