How to Change Portfolio

A deal can at any time during its lifetime be updated with a new Portfolio. Change of portfolio can be done on any Deal Type.

If the deal is already in status "Confirmed" -> the deal first need to be "un-locked" to status "Modified" using the 'Change deal Status...' option in Deal Entry.

 

  1. Open the deal you on which you want to change portfolio
  2. Click the "●●●"- sign.
  3. Pick the new Portfolio
  4. Press 'Save'




Note; If any of the transactions are Exported in Accounting, if payment have been sent, if they are Reconciled in Bank Account Reconciliation or if they are matched in a deal matching service (i.e any event causing the transactions to be "locked" by the system) -> then those transactions need to be 'Reverted' in each one of those steps - before you can change portfolio.


Permissions needed

You need the permission Change Portfolio that gives the user the right to move a deal from one portfolio to another.
